Who is Ozzie?

Ozzie is the name of the dog featured in The Bark Side's official logo.  Designed and created by my daughter, Abigail, Ozzie is a depiction of a Tibetan Terrier that we took care of as a family several years ago.  During my time as a veterinary technician at the Sonoma County Animal Shelter, we fostered many dogs recovering from various medical procedures that put them in a situation where they were not quite ready to be adopted.  Abigail, who was 10 years old at the time, took our dry erase board and created what would eventually be our logo (unbeknownst to her at the time of course, she was just drawing for fun).  Ozzie seemed like a perfect representation for what The Bark Side is all about - a creative way to demonstrate a passion to care for animals.

Other Logos

As you have probably seen throughout the site, there are a couple of other images that are unique to The Bark Side grooming salon.  One is the profile of a standard schnauzer and the other is the "lightscissors" image.  Both were designed by graphic artist, Bryce Daniels.  These further represent the creative side of what we do at our salon as functional grooming should also be fun.
